Rand Paul: Racist & a Tea Party Activist.
Rand Paul, the GOP nomination for the US Senate in Kentucky..recently made some troubling comments. Comments that basically say his views have racist undertones. Rand Paul is a favorite of the 'Tea Party' (the old white people party that are also racist) and is the son of Ron Paul.
Get this. When asked if he supports a private business that refuses to serve an African-American...he said YES. Of course the answer came with some typical I'm not a racist babble...but you call a duck, a duck. He's claiming that he doesn't want to infringe on anyone's free speech...even racist ones. Hmmm. Interesting. I guess he only chooses to read the parts of the Constitution that can be twisted to support his views and beliefs.
Rand Paul...you are a racist that does not deserve to hold any type of public office. Tea Party activists are nothing but trouble and you know what? The Tea Party show signs that they are also a group of racist hateful people that are looking to take away freedom.
Sarah Palin still doesn’t know anything.
Sarah Palin is making all kinds of money speaking at these 'Tea Party' conventions. It just proves that you can pay someone $100,000 and they still don't know anything. She hammered Pres. Obama for using a tele-promter. Uh...and? At least he doesn't scribble notes on his HANDS! Sheesh. Sarah had to write notes on her hands and ACTUALLY LOOKED DOWN AT THEM during her speech.
Then during an interview with FOX News, Sarah jumps in to defend Rush Limbaugh for calling liberals "retards". Well, that makes sense. Why? Because she (Republicans) wanted to slam Rob Emmanuel on saying one stupid comment. Sarah, looks a bit taken aback on the question though. She said that Rush wasn't recorded saying it. What?? And listen to how she answers it. She is just as dumb as ever. The sad part? She defends anyone using the word 'retard' in such a negative manor (like Rush)...since her child has Down Syndrome. Sarah is not only dumb...but she's a bad person.

Shame on you Hollywood, FL Police Department
Back in 2008, HGTV held their Next HGTV Design Star competition. It's one of those reality show competitions that can be quite entertaining. Well, that season...we had some eye candy to watch and cheer for. Michael Verdugo was a contestant from Florida (Ft. Lauderdale area) and quite easy on the eyes. He did well in the competition..placed fourth. Right after the series aired, some news surfaced. It seems way back in 1996, Michael filmed an 'alternative' scene in a bondage porn. To even call it porn is a little extreme. It wasn't the 'hard-core' variety...but what everyone seems to be up-in-arms about is that it was a gay movie.
Shortly after that news broke, the Hollywood Police Department suspended Michael (he's a cop) to do an investigation. Well, it was recently announced that they fired him. The reason? The Hollywood Police Department said he lied on his application by not saying he was in that movie. Crappy huh? Why is that movie even significant? Not only was it filmed so long ago...but you can bet if it was a heterosexual film, they would have padded him on the back.
So...shame on you Hollywood Florida Police Department!! I'm just hoping I run into Michael out here in South Florida sometime to let him know...he's got some fans and we are glad to see he is filing a sexual discrimination suit on the police department. You get 'em Mike!
Carrie Prejean now has a sex tape.
The Queen of Morals has done it again. Carrie Prejean, some of you might know her as the former Miss California, has confirmed that she had made a 'tape' while a teenager for her then boyfriend. The tape isn't your 'run-of-the-mill' type either. It's a Carrie Prejean sex tape. Here we go again right?
Carrie Prejean was crowned Miss California...and didn't win the Miss USA title. Most likely due to her hateful answer to a pageant question on stage. She said that she 'believed that marriage should be between an man and a woman only'. Hello? Dummy...who do you think is in the pageant circles? Who does your hair...makup? The hateful answer got Prejean a lot of press and flack. It also got her some supporters as well. The conservative religious nut-jobs came out to support their 'moral' queen. Prejean began speaking at all kinds of churches and conservative groups.
Then came the nude pictures. This is when the hypocrisy started to show. Prejean stands on her soap-box and spews all kind of hateful words about gays. Carrie...what about those 'breast enhancements' the pageant paid for? You think God wants you to do that? How about those nude pictures? Oh...Carrie Prejean commented that the pictures were done 'long ago' and were done when she needed model work. Right. That was a lie. She wanted to further her career and did the pictures to do just that. As far as 'long ago'...she's not that old...and she had to be at least 18 in the pictures. What a manipulator of words.
Now...enter the Carrie Prejean sex tape. Of course Carrie has her statement all set. She is saying that it isn't even a sex tape at all. She made the tape when she was a 'teenager' (Uh...18 and 19 is still considered 'teen') and it was made for her boyfriend...whom was the love of her life...for his viewing. The tape only contains her alone, so she is standing by her "it's not a sex tape" story.
I can't believe that this woman has the nerve to bring her discriminatory views to the public...when she actually has less morals than any gay person I know. I'm sure if someone digs deep enough...they will find that Carrie Prejean not only made a sex tape...but I'm guessing she did 'favors' to get ahead in her career. If you look at her track record (sex tape, nude pictures)...I'm sure you can guess what those 'favors' would be.
Carrie...if you really want to make sex tapes and that makes you happy. Great. We support you. But please start to clean your own closet out and do some self searching rather than pushing your discrimination against gays. Oh...and Carrie....your 15 minutes is up.
Interracial couples now being denied marriage.
In an interesting turn of events...an interracial couple in Louisiana was recently denied a marriage license from a local justice of the piece in Hammond. Kieth Barwell denied the license by saying he 'did it for the children'. He expanded and said that according to his experience, interracial couples 'do not last long' and that would be wrong to place the potential children they might have in that situation.
Wow. It's amazing on how these people are crawling out of the wood work. I'm sure this will get many people outraged and will speak up. We all need to band together and push for equal rights for ALL AMERICANS! The crazy thing...is that the justice of the piece knew he was doing something illegal. What is going on out there??
Atltanta Eagle raided, police under investigation.
Another story broke a week ago of another gay bar 'raided'. The Atlanta Eagle was raided a few weeks ago and the Atlanta police involved are now under investigation for harassment and unnecessary force. It seems many bar customers were thrown to the ground and treated like animals...even when they were cooperating. One customer was forced to lay on the floor on broken glass.
While these actions were not as bad as those in Texas a few months ago...it's still a sign that the gay community is still a target of discriminatory actions. The reason for the raid? Drugs. The police didn't find what they were looking for...but arrested people just because they felt they could take advantage of the situation. Bartenders were arrested for being in their underwear...stating they were 'strippers'. This was 100% false...as the bar was having a 'theme' night - underwear party.
We need to work together and speak up. This kind of behavior from law enforcement will not be tolerated. It is discriminatory and against the law.
