RIP Michael Jackson

It's been a sad few days for the world.  Pop ICON Michael Jackson passed away Thursday June 26, 2009.  Michael Jackson was 50 and right on the edge of a possible 'comeback'.  He was preparing for his 'final' concert series in Europe and was rehearsing hard.  There are some rumours going around that Michael's cardiac arrest might be due to some prescription drug mixing and interactions.  If this is the case...his Dr. will have some explaining to do.  Another strange item in the occurrence is that Michael's Dr. was with him when the incident happen...and his Dr. is a Cardiologist!

Michael was rushed to the hospital where staff attempted to revive him for almost an hour.  There are reports that Michael was actually dead prior to the ambulance's arrival at his home...but the Dr. didn't want them to make that call there.

I'm glad to see everyone speaking about the wonderful things Michael did in his career and are not focusing on his recent troubles.  It is kind of sad that it took his death to make people see Michael in the light they once did though.  Hopefully now...Michael will be in peace.

Michael Jackson was 50 and leaves behind three children.  Final autopsy results will be released in a few weeks.  Which may shed more light on the cause of this terrible event.
